This is a tanka whereas a haiku is 5,7, then 5 syllables. A tanka is 5,7,5 then 7 and 7 syllables.

I used to be pretty good a Haiku. Never explored the other Japanese forms. They're very zen in their forced simplicity yet can say a heck of a lot in a very few words.
