Everyone is Losing their Shit - The Will of the Sheeple

Seems to me that everyone is losing their shit at the moment. If you still follow Astrology then I believe there are also explanations offered for why this is happening. Whatever.

Then also there is the crazy Easter energy (like the crazy Christmas energy) where everybody has to make sure they have enough food and alcohol to supply a small nation because. god forbid, ALL the shops are closed in our country on Good Friday.

I am reminding myself again for the millionth time that I have the potential, the possibility and the tools to create the impossible for myself and leave forever the childhood of my evolution and step into the next stage of my growth - regardless of what the muggles and the world is doing.

Anyone who has been on this earth as long as I have has given up the foolish notion that bigotry, racism and misogyny will ever truly end. When I was a child (longer ago than even I can recall), I had a naive thought that by the time I became a man, the insanity fueled by religious fanaticism and the delusions of politics would pass. Certainly, I thought, the world would become a better place through entropy, if nothing else. Put simply, the crazy and the hateful would die out, rendering their brand of madness extinct.

Sadly, that did not happen.

Sadder still, it still hasn't.

Saddest of all... it never will.

As I prepare to go out this evening to contemplate the darkness that has nothing to do with nightfall, I hope (as I always do) that I will return at sunrise to find the world a better place.

Sadly, that will not happen.

Humanity appears hell-bent on its own destruction, or at the very least, the demise of all reason, the abdication of love in favor of fear and hate.

Such a species cannot survive.

Perhaps it is best. Through their will and their choices, they will be their own undoing.

As of this day, I believe they already have.

Exactly. Something is only impossible until it's not. Smashing particles together, pretty much any given Rodney Mullen skateboard trick, immortality...

And anything impossible that was made possible ultimately started with somebody's imagination. Even if it isn't something that involves creativity necessarily, like an athletic record that was thought impossible. The imagination of seeing and feeling yourself doing it anyway, and then your physical form eventually following suit.

I've gotten past the point of feeling disappointed by the world and its mass idiocy because disappointment requires having expected better. By now I'm really just drawing breath from my Shadowland as much as I can. I'm ready to go home.

When people say impossible what they really mean is improbable.
