The poetry of a gay man pretending he's straight Empty The poetry of a gay man pretending he's straight

Tue Oct 04, 2022 4:37 pm
He tried to steal the one thing that matters most to me.

I don't need your permission anymore to love her.

I don't need your permission anymore to love a woman.

My love for him is non-existent and red eyes lied to me.

YOU lied to me.

"Red eyes lie... But you can trust blue."

Now I know. There is no man for me.

There is no guarantee. But Destiny.

Come to me. Whoever you are. Wherever you are. Be the One I need.

He tried to steal away my destiny.
He tried to steal away the very thing that is most important to me.

He tried. But he failed. To steal HER.

And I won't let you do that. Not anymore.

Not ever again. Rest assured.

He tried to steal away the one thing that matters most to me in this entire life:

True intimacy with a woman.

But I need her like I need to breathe.

So no more uncertainty.

It's clear: there is no man for me.

But I
Am a Unique Design

Non-existent fear:
The insidious lie.

Straight as an arrow,
Not gay, not bi

Like the illusion of the tornado that she realized
When Dorothy clacked her red heels together:
I love the One woman for me
A unique design.
